Different cultures have different ways of greeting one another. If these differences are understood, accepted and respected by those in the unit, there is no problem in continuing. However, if one or more of the unit members is uncomfortable, it should be discussed within the unit to find an acceptable solution for all concerned.
[EN] I am surprised by the culture within our unit where it is customary for people to either shake hands or kiss each other on the cheek depending on their gender. Is this acceptable?
