No. There are some computers available next to the user’s office (Bldg 500; 1st floor) and in the library (Bldg 52; 1st floor), but you can only use them once you have your account set up.

You can create your computing account before coming at CERN, by sending a scan of your passport to service-desk@cern.ch asking for 'computing account creation'

The CERN visit service organizes visits almost every day. Visits for individuals are organized according to availability:

• Tours in English: Mondays to Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. / Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 1 p.m to 3 p.m.
• Tours in French: Wednesday and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The time delay between reservation and the visit can be very long and therefore a long booking notice is advisable.
