Is it possible to do a visit of CERN outside the official visits, e.g. when a friend is coming?

CERN visits outside the summer student programme

The CERN visit service organizes visits almost every day. Visits for individuals are organized according to availability:

  • Tours in English: Mondays to Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. / Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 1 p.m to 3 p.m.
  • Tours in French: Wednesday and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The time delay between reservation and the visit can be very long and therefore a long booking notice is advisable.
