CERN rents out bicycles (in summer there are long waiting lists!). Ask your departmental  secretary upon arrival or click here.

CERN BIKE SHARING:
Members of CERN community can borrow "velopass" bikes, free of charge, from one of the docking stations installed at the INGRID temporary garden on the parking of the building 33. Simply present your CERN access card at the CAR POOL to be issued with an activation code and user card allowing free use of the bikes across the whole site.

Please note: The CERN bicycles are made available to members of the personnel between the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m. in the framework of their work at CERN for work-related use only, for a maximum period of 8 consecutive hours.
